This question has probably been dealt with but I cannot find it so please bear with me. I want to organise my modules into a sequence of fifteen topics but I want to make each topic visibile in sequence and limit access to it to those who have completed the exercises in the topic before. Is there a way of doing this. Thanks a million.
Hi Nicholas,
Hiding and revealing things is usually associated with a Conditional Activity (Moodle 2.0, but I don't think it has the hide reveal feature) or Activity Locking contributed codes which have the features you are looking for. There is a forum devoted to Conditional Activities and it is active with Activity locking discussions.
There are many variations of Activity Locking. Several developers have their own ideas about the way it should work MoodleDocs has a page Development:Activity Locking that should help you sort out the one that might meet your needs.
Have fun! Chris
