- finding line: $string['thislanguage'] = '英文';
- Delete it and add new line: $string['thislanguage'] = '中文';
- Save file moodle/lang/zh_cn/moodle.php
and you can fixing any language wrong by this way.
But why did no-one mention this mistake before, though? It seems like it would be something very annoying to look at ...
I am a new user to Moodle, only on my second day, but I noticed it right away. The VAST majority of my intended users will be native Chinese that know little or no English, and if the language menu says "English" in Chinese characters, I expect they would not choose that language option. The fix is easy enough, though.
I just want to take a moment to express my appreciation for the Chinese language translation work that has already been accomplished! THANK YOU! 谢谢你们!
