A recent discussion with Olli revealed that there seems to be a lack of general information on usability. I have started a Usability FAQ page for collecting some of the scattered information from the forum(s). Any contributions are welcome!

thanks a lot for that. I am pretty sure, I will contribute to that. However, it might well be AFTER my submission date in May...
I really learned a lot by conducting a usability study and my participants were completely unpredictable. So, in case, someone wants to conduct such a study, I am very happy to share my experience as "researcher" on that.
