I am looking for a solution to the problem below regarding wikis:
We have 3 groups (separate), for the first week each group do an activity on the group wiki. What we want to do next is (week 2) switch the wikis with the groups so that group 1 will now edit group 3 wiki and so on. Each group will be building on what the other group started.
At the moment is there a way of doing his? All the Wiki and group setups allow the groups to see what the other group has done but not edit them.
Any help will be welcomed.
Anyone, I would really appreciate if someone is able to tell me if things in my previous post are possible. From my knowledge on groups they can be separate and visible but non of these options would allow groups to be make changes, edit or add to what the other group would have done ......
I don't think there is a technical way to do what you are looking for.
If I had to do what you explain, I would set up a wiki with no group, in which I'd create 3 parts, one for each group. Then, I'd ask the student to work on the pages I tell them to. I would trust them not to edit the pages of the other groups, at least not before I tell them to switch.
If the previous work is not confidential, it could work...
hope it helps...
