If teachers are starting with Moodle, they are overwhelmed by all these moduls. To help them a little I changed the modulename of the moduls in their language file: book becomes 1.book etc 2.
If they open the dropdownbox to choose a modul I say:
- start with the moduls form category 1, the are easy
- then add some fron category 2 to enhance the logistics of the course
- then move to category 3, but therefor you must design first the student activity /do more educational preparation
- category 4 is to extend your course
- category 5 is experimental or needs more preparation:
