Moodle community sites

There's a bunch of search plugins for Firefox on
http://mycroft.mozdev.org/search-engines.html?name=moodle&skipcache=yes which provide an easier way for more precise searches, e.g. only searching for new discussion topics in the General Developer Forum.

Some of these plugins could be made available by autodiscovery on the relevant Moodle pages, but the mechanism seems to be broken, see MDLSITE-644.
