Thanks for the suggestion but it's work students have done in college and we only have 2003 plus I can't open work I looked at yesterday.
At the moment I'm following this line http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=118403. We only have one <!--TEST--> but I don't thing that is significant
