I am trying to set up a single subject discussion with an open ended question. I would like all the students to reply. As a teacher, I would like to give students credit for replying but it seems like I can only rate the topic of the forum and not the individual replies. Please help!

Okay -- I was trying to switch roles and grade myself and that is why the replies wouldn't give me the option of rating them. You can't rate yourself no matter what role you are in.
