Roles and permissions

I would like to know if it is possible to allow teachers to allow their own courses. I found the Administration > Users > Permissions > Define Roles and in this forum someone said that I also should alos allow moodle/category:update (is this true?)

But what I don't understand is: where can the teacher find the interface, the actual button to delete his own course? Since the teacher does not have access to the category listing, there seems to be no interface to remove his course.
