Just to let you know that at my request (MDLSITE-667) Jordan has made it possible to upload .dia files to MoodleDocs.
Dia is the least-bad Open Source drawing program I know for drawing software diagrams. And you can get it for Windows, Mac and Linux.
When I draw and upload diagrams like http://docs.moodle.org/en/Development:Database_schema_introduction#The_roles_and_capabilites_system, it seems only sensible that I can upload an editable copy of the diagram, so other people can modify it in the future, although I still need to create and upload a png too.
Except, that while Jordan was doing this, he found http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Dia. What do people think about installing that extension?
