How does Choice support single transferable vote?

Greetings! I have come across a discussion or two in relation to the support of Choice for single transferable vote, but I have not quite grabbed the essence. Could anyone please explain a bit more in details on how Choice is supporting single transferable vote or alternative transferable vote? Does Moodle automatically distribute the number of votes against the candidates? Or does the polling administrator need to do that manually? Thank you very much in advance and I look forward to hearing your feedback soon.

Hi

My understanding of the term 'single transferable vote' in the context of the Moodle Choice activity is...

A Choice activity allows a Student to make a single choice from a range of options.
(This is like voting for something).

However, the Teacher can setup a Choice activity so that a Student can change their mind, and change their selection.

So the Student can transfer their vote to a different option.

Perhaps this is what is meant by 'single transferable vote' ?
