I've created forums within my class by using "Add." The forum icon appears just as is is supposed to, but when I click on the icon I am taken to a blank browser page. There is nothing on the page. This also happens with the default "News Forum."
I've read all of the documentation, but I must be missing something. Has anyone encountered this and discovered the solution?

You are seeing a blank screen because there are no posts yet. Click "Add a new topic..." and create a post.
Thanks for such a quick reply. I had thought of this; however, I don't get a blank Moodle forum screen, I get a blank browser screen. There is no way to "Add a new topic." That is the screen that does not ever appear. I get a blank IE screen withan URL that looks like this
http://nclass.net/moodle/mod/forum/view.php?id=4
Of course the id=4 changes with different forum links.
Somehow the info I fill in is not getting captured.

My site is being hosted on someone else's server. I was told he has been considering upgrading, but I do not know the status on this. In the past few weeks, this gentleman has been very helpful and quick to respond to any problem I have had. But, I have not been able to get a response from him either by e-mail or phone for the past 4 days.
I'm so glad you couldn't get it to work either. Now I don't feel so bad.
