- in "Administration/Configure Variables", turn on "enablerssfeeds".
- in "Administration/Modules/Forum settings", turn on "forum_enablerssfeeds".
- edit your desired forum. Some new options to activate and configure RSS will be present.
- the next time that your Moodle's cron was executed, RSS will be generated.
Hope it helps, ciao
Thank you Eloy,
What I had not done at the time of my post, was executing the cron.
But when I executed the cron, I did notice some addtional RSS features were noted. For some reason, the RSS feed does not display when I click on the RSS icon.
and what is the output of your cron command? And the source code of the page that you see when you click on the RSS icon?
Actually, my firewall was preventing the RSS page from loading. I disabled and it worked fine.
Do you know of a way of displaying RSS feeds from other sites?
The instructions for the RSS NewsFeed Block can be found at http://moodle.org/file.php/5/moddata/forum/396/50199/rssfeed_instructions2.pdf
Hope this helps.
Very nice! I just installed and it works perfectly. Thank you.
