One of my custom roles is for our Librarians, who need to be able to access all course pages and post resources there.
In most respects this role, which is assigned at the System level, works perfectly. However, when users with this role access a course page, the only item which they can move is the News Forum. None of the other resources and activities display the "move" icon. (We do have AJAX drag-and-drop moving turned on.)
Can anyone tell me what capabilities I need to change to give this role the ability to move items in the Topic Outline? They already have moodle/course:manageactivities set to Allow.
In case it matters, I'm running Moodle 1.9.2 on a LAMP server.
Every time I see a question like this, I wish that the new check permissions page I made for Moodle 2.0 was there in Moodle 1.9. The bad news is it isn't. The good news is that Panny Leach is working on making it available.
