this is very similar to my actual process.
I'm checking the CVS mails for changes in the lang/en_utf8 folders and move the relevant mails with changes in existing strings to a separate place. From time to time I take this mails and make the corrections in the lang system.
There is one situaton that isn't covered by the other processes. If there is only a typo correction in the en_utf8 file most translator won't have to make changes in the language file.
I'm working with pootle for the exelearning translation. If there is a typo correction in the english versionm, the string is marked for translation. If my tranlation is correct and I don't have to change anything I can't say this to pootle. I have to add a blank or an other sign. Thats not a good solution.
