Hi Shaan, it puts files in the same place all the other modules do, in the files directory you set in your config, in the course's (see the course id) directory inside that.

Thanks for your reply !

When a new image is added\uploaded to a leasson module , the copy of image is stored in the /moodledata folder . this file can be accessed using ,

http://172.24.1.120/moodle/file.php/9/logo.jpg . But  I want these files directly in my lesson modlue or somewhere inside the moodle folder , so that they can be accessed directly as http://172.24.1.120/moodle/mod/lesson/logo.jpg . Can any help me in this regard ?

Thanks in Advance !!

That's a mighty strange place to put images... Why not go with the flooooow and let the images live in the moodledata folder...

For that you would use an ftp program, ftp the images to the lesson directory, and then link them in using the link to function of image insert tool rather than the browse function. You could do a good bit of hacking and make the image browser point to your lesson directory rather than moodledata.

But I agree with Ray, this doesn't seem like a good idea. Hacking the image browser to browse directly to a directory rather than going through file.php to the moodledata directory would not only be alot of work but would represent a rather large security hole in your moodle install.
