Maybe I am just missing something. If so, please send me in the right direction. Why can I (as a teacher but not an administrator) not just unenroll students from my participants page. It seem to be a very convoluted and not very time efficient process to backup, restore, etc to remove students from classes.
Not sure what you mean by backup/restore etc but you can unenrol via course admin>assign roles and then take them out of the role of student by moving them from the left block back into the right block.
