Is there a way to move a course to another Moodle site?  If so, how?

Ah, you're going to love the simplicity.

From within the course that you want to move (logged in as teacher or admin), choose "backup" from the links in the Admin block.

Moodle will take you through a few screens. Generally, you should accept the defaults and press "continue" whenever it asks. Later, you can learn to tweak these settings.

When the backup is complete, you'll have a new zip file in your uploaded file folder. Look for it and find it. When you see it, click on its name (it is a link and will download the .zip to your desktop).

Now, go to the new Moodle installation and upload that zip file.

After it is uploaded, find it in the uploaded file folder. You'll see that next to it, the word "restore" is linked. Click that word.

Again, Moodle will take you through a few screens. Accept the defaults and press continue whenever it asks. At the end of the process, you'll have a complete copy of your course in a new place.

Let us know how it goes.
