I had moodle working perfectly on testbed, my own pc.
Now I've transferred files and database to hosting service to test on internet (I'm going to have to do this all again next week to get it onto "real" site).
I made necessary changes to config.php
The database contains all the data for the site (well actually a few tables are missing but thats a different story).
Now I get lots of 1050 errors during Upgrading Database process (naturally because the tables already exist). And then it just stops after trying to write the mdl_backup_log table. I really want it to just keep going, errors or not.
The point is I don't want to upgrade the database. I want to handle the transfer manually.
- How can I get moodle to stop trying to upgrade and just, well, get on with it?
- Is it possible to do this?
- Should I dump the existing mdl_tables and let moodle admin handle tables creation?
- But then how do I get the existing tables/data back in (please please don't make me reload the user/course/group data it took me a week to get it in in the first place!)?
