"Enrol" spelling error: how to fix?

My Moodle installation has the word "enroll" spelled "enrol" in several places -- and I chose en_us as the language pack. ("Enrollment" is incorrect as well.) Where is the main text kept, so that I can fix this?

Did you choose en_us for both your own profile AND the site?  I'm pretty sure all the enrols are converted in the US pack.

Note that even in the US enrol is not an error.
