Add New User? Denied! Go edit your profile!

Howdy,

We've been using Moodle for a few months, everything working great... until...

For some weird reason, we can't add new users! This had been no problem at all before, but *something* has happened. Now, when I go:

Users > Accounts > Add New User

...then enter the new user info and click the "Update Profile" button...

It brings me back to my own profile page and the new user is not added!

Why???

I've searched these forums, the documentation, made sure permissions are good, and still haven't found a course of action. Any thoughts? Your suggestions / theories / ideas are all welcome. Thanks!

This is a bit of a stretch, but is your own profile complete? Have you completed all the necessary fields in your own profile.

Most probably not the answer, but check it out.

Good suggestion!

But yes, my profile is complete. Just double-checked it now. No dice.

And I'm set as an admin. With all the appropriate priviliges. So are a couple of others. We all have the same problem not being able to create new users, yet having been able to do so before.
