Would be interested to know the level of "Technical Support" in College's /Universities to support the use/maintain Moodle?

Number of users (to support 5000 users)

Do you use internal support or external?

If internal:

Number of "Techanical Staff" (or these full time or part time)?

Approx Cost (UK Pounds)?

Any information would be helpful

Thanks

Number of users: 1000 weekly, 1000 more occasional

Do you use internal support or external? Internal

If internal: Number of "Technical Staff" (or these full time or part time)? one part-time engineer to maintain server. 3-4 hours per month
Student assistants to set up attendance system each semester 20 hours
Teachers do all admin work.

Approx Cost (UK Pounds)? 1000 UK pounds per year
This budget is not listed under Moodle or elearning, just we use existing staff paid from general IT budgets

Hope this is helpful. Don Hinkelman, Sapporo Gakuin University

We are a secondary College with 1500 students and 200+ teaching staff.

Support is all internal.

I am it!

Only cost is my salary, which is not nearly enough tongueout

Hi. I found one. Groopex Integrated Conferencing works with WebEx Meeting Center and WebEx Training Center. I just got them to show me a demo this past Thursday. I'm quite impressed with it.
