I have a teaching faculty person who has used a Glossary as a major component of her course. Students have made several entries each and an T.A has rated each with a text scale having 5 parts (eg 'word in context, but citations incomplete', 'definition not appropriate' etc).
What we'd like to have happen is for the glossary to deliver a sum of these ratings to the gradebook which could then display as a percentage. It's really hard for me to figure out exactly how the gradebook is converting the text scale into numbers -- it shows the glossary scale and then a category total from 0 to 4.00.
Has anyone out there graded a glossary? I could with some help bouncing ideas.
