Hi,

Is there a way to hide a page in the TOC but still have it accesible?

I have a book of about 400 pages, but I would like to display only a few pages in the toc not all of them. I thought hiding the pages in the TOC would do the trick, but now nobody but the admin can access those pages. That's quite dumb behaviour in my opinion, in the sence that it is overkill. If the page is not displayed in the TOC how would anyone that is not an admin be able to access it anyway?

I would have loved to be able to display a few top level pages in the TOC and have links to the hidden pages in the actual text of my book.

Is there a way that I can edit some file to achieve this? and if so where would a good place be to start looking?
