i have a jenzabar cx sis running informix 10 to which i am trying to connect using the external enrolment feature. i am using moodle 1.8.6 (as required by faculty as they dislike the new gradebook in 1.9). i have created a view on the source and have mapped the fields in the appropriate moodle section but at login i get the following error:

forget it ... i gave up and just went ODBC
if anyone has feedback on using the informix driver to accomplish this i'd be all ears but i have it working via odbc for now

New to setting up moodle.
We also have Informix CX 10 sis and I would like to use informix but haven't have a clue.
It seems like you have figure out the odbc way.. Mind sharing?
