Mark,
Any success uploading these to MoodleCommons or did you pass on that?
These look like they are in your complete courses (w/grades) - does one have to get an account to bckup and download the course?
Are these in Native format or html?

I uploaded one, it had not appeared when I last looked, moved on.

I have tonight realised how easy it is to make any multy choice test markable in moodle using jclose.

if you are interested see file attached. ( I have not included the pdf file, not much point since any test will do , and the jclose is self evident)

The answer structure in this case is a bit odd because it is for an AQA gcse test, this one has 9 questions with parts a,b,c,d needing answers of 1,2,3 or 4.

Funny how these things are so obvious when penny drops

Regards

I will copy this to the education forum

Mark,

I was a bit intrigued by your set up.... I didn't realize you really weren't looking for multiple choice and all the mockups I did were using MP....
But I had the following observations"

I could not find where you had added the instructions, nor could I find where you added the Check/Hint buttons, which did appear though the embedded pdf did not........

The code below shows an excerpt that explores what I could get working in IE and FF

<tr>
<td></td>
<td><iframe src="http://website/test.pdf" ><a href=http://website/test.pdf target=_blank>click if you can't see the pdf</a></iframe></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>
<td><embed height="200" src="http://website/test.pdf" type="application/pdf" ><a href=http://website/test.pdf target=_blank>click if you can't see the pdf</a></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>
<td><object data="test.pdf" type="application/pdf" height="180">Object Only Appears in IE</OBJECT>Using the full URL did not work either......</td>
</tr>
