I use the Main Menu block on my front page, to display a list of links to favoured sites, using the resource type "Link to file or web". There are currently 5, but the list may grow!
This looks OK, but I want to use the relevant small logos rather than a simple text name to maximise visibility of the link.
My question is, can I insert an image into the name field of the resource type "Link to file or web page" or is it limited to just text?
I've tried putting in some html in the name field, but Moodle strips it out. I could of course use an html block and embed images with links, but this takes up more space than a simple list of links.
Can anybody offer any advice on doing this - is there a better way to achieve my objective? Thanks
