I ´m considering myself a "moodler" since two weeks ago. From then now I have installed the packages on a server at the Math Dept. of my University and started to create a graduate course (Solid Mechanics), in portuguese.
Thinking on the variety of brownsers that my students could be using I´m using IE 6.0, Netscape 7.2 and Firefox 0.9 (to put materials and test navigation).
Today, trying to add a new lesson, using Netscape, the Rich Text screen for a page does not appear (only the screen to HTML).
Has someone the same problem? Or know someone a solution to that (if there is one...).
I believe it´s early to impose to the students one or a short choice of brownsers.
Waiting for help.
Thanks in advance.

I don't use the HTML editor much myself but the people who do hang out in this forum
Yes, I agree. It is possible to switch the HTML editor off for the whole site or for a user. I'll also found that if you are running a site in Debug mode (which you normally don't do) the editor does not appear for students...
That said, the other forum is your best bet.
