Hi, is it possible to put a video somewhere (on youtube, googlevideo, vimeo or on a streaming server such as Darwin QT streaming server) and protect the video so that only the people who come to your moodle class can see it (whitin Moodle) and not go there straight away (outside Moodle)?
e.g. you can add password restrictions to most video websites (such as youtube), but can i access the video then from moodle (send the password in a hidden way?)
Or,
I I would use the darwin streaming server, can i close it so that only Mymoodle participants can see the movies?
Thanks,
Wouter
Hi, Wouter,
Is it possible that you can upload the videos to the files section of your course? If your course does not permit guest access, would that not do the trick for you?
Or have I misunderstood what you are trying to do?
Regards,
Art

Hi Art,
Thanks. I guess that would do the trick, but i would rather use an external source for my video files, as the server gets slow and it consumes all of my server space.
Would you know a whay to do that?

Wouter
