Hi all,
does anyone know of some resources regarding social constructionism pedagogy specifically for math teaching (on all levels)?
Thanks for any hints.
Andreas
Hi Andreas,
I came across The Centre for Experimental and Constructive Mathematics, which includes an article on social constructionism, Towards a Cognitive Model for Computer Mediated Learning in Mathematics.
It might be of some use.
Regards,
Cormac.

Hi, Andreas,
This looks like an interesting paper, although it doesn't appear to address pedagogy specifically. Social Constructivism as a Philosophy of Mathematics: Radical Constructivism Rehabilitated?
