I'm new to this Moodle-ing. I just discovered Moodle on 8/11/08 and in 1 week I will be instructing faculty in setting up a basic gradebook. I'm having a bit of trouble understanding how to set-up a gradebook so that a teacher can chose to assign "extra credit". I understand the Weights-but is there a way to have Extra Credit given when the instructor is using Weighted Means? Should the course be set-up as SUM of Grades with Extra Credit? Can there be 2 different scales used in the same course?
