Resource types

Our BOOK resources open in the same window, causing some difficulty in going between the reading material and the assignment.

We created a weblink to open in a new window (an activity rather than a resource, and have the resource 'hidden'.

The problem is that we have been unable to force the new window to open in a particular location, sans toolbars, at a given width and height. In normal webpages (outside Moodle), I insert a javascript function that seems to work well, but Moodle ignores this. Even the site admin tools where window dimensions can be set don't sem to have any effect.

Any thoughts?
