I have had a horrible problem with "Guests" signing up and using my Moodle as a download site for other unwanted things. I went into role assignment and changed the capabilities for "Guest Users" only; however, now I can log in as an administrator, but I can not get to any of my courses. What have I done? And, how can I go back and un-do what I have done?
I've done the same thing. Jus tagging along to see if there is a solution.
Oh here! I found an earlier posting on this. I tried it and it worked for me. The earlier version of the file did not work, but this modified one did. Now I have my full site admin menu back. That's about all I'm sure of at the moment. Check out the following post:
