Our workaround works for now, but I think I'm going to start setting aside time to learn about the development process and building my programming skills up to the point that I may be able to try to implement this. We're using Moodle to try to provide "just in time" training and education, so seldom do we have more than 1 or 2 trainees starting a program at the same time.
Thanks for giving it some thought. I understand wanting to keep the initial implementation simple, but I like your idea of custom scripts.
