Hi Chandra,
Wow 25 pages of text in a single Lesson page's content area? Definitely not designed for that. However, somebody asked the question of how to increase the capacity of the content area in the HTML editor toolbar. I think they were looking for a way to hack the code and change it for the entire moodle site. Could be a limitation of the MySQL table.

I would put a link to a text file on the page and let the students find it that way.

Or break up the text on more than one page. Use branch tables and turn on the menu on the left. The branch table page titles will show up left and your students can navigate from page to page that way if they wish.

It is also possible (if cumbersome) to put HTML links in the content area of any page to another lesson page. This is for advanced users and is a pain to do. Best done with two open windows to copy and paste the urls. But in some versions of Moodle this is tricky, especially if the lesson is copied, the links will be broken.

Sorry I could not be of more help. Chris
