700 Billion dollars, could put an end to global poverty.
6 billion people on earth. Of those lets say for argument sake half are extremly poor (below the bread line), the other half has no problem surviving in their day to day endeavours.
That leaves 3 Billion people. That is $2100 each. For someone living below the bread line, $2100 is more than they would have made in a lifetime.
Now give that money to a global organisation to manage, like the Red cross, as such an organisation can do so much more because of bulk bying power etc. and voila, I believe global poverty is a thing of the past.
But lets rather give it to the banks, so that they can save their own businesses instead. stupid if you ask me.
