You're right. Thought I might be able to find some kind of conversion utility on the Web or run a mysql dump in a different format, but I pretty much gave up on the Interbase conversion, because it looked like I'd have to hand-code creation of all the moodle tables.
Told my boss it was possible not practical and he was okay with that.
