I am using external database authentication with the password format set to "Internal."
When a new account is created, users are sent an e-mail with their user ID (pulled from the external DB) and a randomly generated password created by Moodle (that they must change the first time they log in).
This works great except when the user doesn't receive/loses the initial e-mail (blocked by spam filter, accidentally deleted, etc.). How can I reset one of these accounts to resend the initial login information? I know I can reset the password by editing their profile, but then I've got to type up an e-mail with their info and send that out manually.
In most cases, our users do not know their user ID until it is sent to them, so I can't simply tell them to use the password reminder function to reset their password.
