Auto Link only first instance

Auto Link only first instance

I have hundreds of terms in my global glossary, which I'd like to autolink in my course content. However, it links every instance of every word or term found in the glossary. How can I make it so that only the first instance of a term in a lesson or book, etc. appears as a link? Right now there are so many words highlighted in our content that it's distracting.

Hi Dan,

Go to Site Administration->Modules->Filters->Manage Filters, scroll down the page and make your choices.

That is correct, Matt. However, it's a pity that this setting is to be found there, rather than where one would expect to find it, i.e. under Administration Modules Activities Glossary. This is counter-intuitive.wink
