Using Questionnaire across multiple courses

Using Questionnaire across multiple courses

We are planning to use a single questionnaire deployed across multiple sections of a course to survey student satisfaction with several campus events.  This seemed to be working fine when we set it up this summer.  We created the master document in a separate course called "Assessment", then deployed it within the course we were building.  The responses were viewable in the "Assessment" course, but not in the individual course...this is exactly the way we wanted it.

After we got the course built, our school updated to Moodle 1.9.  Now, the results show in the individual courses, but not in the "Assessment" course.  Has anyone run across a similar problem?  Any suggestions for a fix?  We've just discovered this problem, and our students will begin responding to the first questionnaire next week, so we need to find a solution as quickly as possible.  Thanks.

Angela,

Let's get a clear view of your situation. Before the summer you were running Moodle 1.8 and Questionnaire 1.8. You set up a "public" questionnaire instance (in an "Assessment" course) which you then "used" in various courses on your Moodle site. I suppose you set up the Questionnaire instances in the various courses to not display responses.

Then you upgraded your moodle site to 1.9.

Did you also upgrade your Questionnaire plugin to the 1.9 version? I hope you did. If so, did you check the settings of the questionnaires both in the "Assessment course" and in the other courses? Have you noticed that the Questionnaire plugin is now roles-aware and some behaviors, such as display responses is to be set by using the roles over-rides?
