To make sure there is no confusion, dragmath is written in java, while asciimathml as you will see it is in javascript. asciimathml is very very fast (while I have not benchmarked it, even with fallback it appears to be much fatser than jsMath). Dragmath can be very slow on initial loading, but once loaded it will get snappier if there is sufficient cache, though a recent version of java is probably going to give you better results.......

The package Mauno has assembled is cobbled from several different technologies to provide what might look like a comprehensive editor for mathematics use. A final version might include buttons for dragmath, a tool to edit asciimath, a tool to insert asciimath, a graphing tool, etc.
