One way to do this would be as follows;
- copy the book's url
- create a "link to file or website" resource
- use the book's url as the resource's link
- open resource in a new window
If you want to then hide your books as otherwise you will have more than a fairly lengthy page;
- go to your course settings and add a topic section
- move all the books you have linked to into the new section
- when all books have been moved, put the number of topics in the course settings back to what it was before you changed it
