I have created a forum, and written an introduction for it that is several sentences long. The entire introduction appears at the top of the forum itself as it should, but when I go to the page that lists all the forums in the course, it truncates this description to just the first sentence, which is two lines long. I have no idea why. At first I thought it might have something to do with the fact I had put a quotation in the first sentence, with a quotation mark after the period that was itself cut off, but then I went ahead and deleted the quotation marks entirely and it is still happening. Any clues as to why this is happening? It doesn't seem to happen here in the Using Moodle course so I am stumped.
