Curve To option = What option in 1.9? Need to change max grade > 100

How do we handle changing the maximum grade of an activity that pushes its grades to the Gradebook?   Before 1.9, we could edit the Set Categories page for the assignment or quiz activity and Curve to a value higher than 100. (See image below)

In 1.9, when editing the item for the activity in the gradebook, the Max Grade option is not editable.

Thanks.

See this documentation. I decided to go hog-wild and changed the maximum score to 500 just in case someone is really big with their points scheme.

So unless the admin changes this in their Moodle implementation, the teacher has no control over changing the max grade for an activity pushed to the 1.9 gradebook?

Use the aggregation coefficient set at 1.5 will change your max grade from 100 to 150.

Sorry.
The above should read the multiplicator.

Changing the multiplicator had no effect on increasing the max grade. I have this scenario:

  • Upload single file assignment
  • Max grade current = 100
  • Grade to pass = 0
  • Multiplicator = 1.5
  • Offset = 0
  • Grade display type = Real

The range shows 0-100, and when I override a grade to anything more than 100, that value does not take effect.
