It's not a problem, just a minor irritation, but I'm just curious as to know why: I think this only happens when I am in FF - but- sometimes when I am in a Moodle and I click on something, rather than sending me off to where I want to go, or save my changes, I will find my 'click' has tried to download something and open it up in Dreamweaver.... ?? Is it anything to do with my having FF's webdeveloper bar?
Mary - Usually that type of behavior has to do with a certain type of file and Firefox tries to open it with a specific application (in your case dreamweaver). I do not think it has to do with the WebDeveloper bar. See if you can isolate what type of file it is happening with and see if you go under Edit-Preferences and then Applications, find the annoying file type and change it to a more desired behavior. Hopefully that will help. Peace - Anthony
When I go to my Dreamweaver I see a list of the likes of: editsection.php, securelogin.php, atempt.php, preview.php etc etc (all in my temporary files and no longer available) But frustrating
Mary - It could be that php files are associated with Dreamweaver. Are you running Windows? If so, see if you can remove the file association of php files with Dreamweaver. Best of luck in getting to the bottom of this. Peace - Anthony
Ok will try thanks! It's a small nuisance in a big world of woes but everything helps
