Moodle is always a work in progress. Suggestions for improvements (especially when submitted through the tracker) are always welcome, considered and often implemented in future versions of release updates. The inadequacies in the gradebook interface are more due to lack of foresight than to poor design decisions. Thanks for your comments all the same ;)
