I am using Moodle 1.7.
I will have groups of students attend courses. Each group will have a "leader". I need to limit the leader's capabilities. I do not want them to be able to do anything with the site or the courses themselves. They only need to see who is enrolled in the course (from their assigned group only) and their grades.
I added a new role for the leader, (non-editing teacher legacy) prohibiting any permissions that would allow a change to the site, course, activities, etc.
When I sign in as a test leader, it will not allow me into the course after I enter the enrollment key, as if the wrong key was entered (but wasn't). As admin, I can see that the test leader was assigned to the correct group when the enrollment key was entered, but the leader can't actually get into the course.
Can someone please tell me exactly which permission I need to set to "allow" in order to give the leader the capability to see student grades in their group but not change anything in the course?
