Hi Marc & Miguel, Marc: You're right, it's definitely an issue with the web host. The problem for Miguel is that he is on shared hosting and various php functions have been disabled (quite rightly). He can execute the binary quite happily himself, but php won't execute it. It's a common problem. Miguel: I also suggest you look at installing Moodle on a virtual private server (VPS), or best is dedicated hosting - but that can be expensive. The next problem I foresee is that your hosting company will complain about server load when you get cron.php running and have lots of users on your Moodle. I've had that problem lots of times as well. Hope this helps, Ian.
