IMS Content Package and Internet Explorer 7

I am using the IMS Content Package Resource. When I view these resources using Firefox there is a navigation menu down the left hand side and everything works well. When I view the same resource using Internet Explorer 7 the navigation menu does not show. It is displayed for a second and is then overwritten.
Can anyone help?
