I 've searched for the answer but I can't find it.

Is there a way inside moodle to backup everything? (the database / files etc. etc.)
If the anwser is NO , can somebody tell me what 'backup' under the admin is?

Other question?

Can I copy hard the files and the database export? Is that a good way to backup everything.

Thx in advance...

Hi R E (strange name) wink,

You cannot backup everything from Moodle itself. To make full backup of your Moodle server you need to backup all the files and DB. Perhaps the information showed in the discussion below will help you:

The backup item under the admin page in to schedule automatic COURSE (not SITE) backups in Moodle instead of making them manually (inside every course).
